Terms of Use

The rules for submitting enquiries, browsing and purchasing access to enquiry details, using email alerts and interacting with other iNeed users.

Last updated: 17 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern use of yesineed.co.uk and its iNeed enquiry marketplace. iNeed is operated by a sole trader using the trading name iNeed, currently based in Greater Manchester, United Kingdom. For support, email info@yesineed.co.uk.

By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use iNeed on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to act for it.

Trading name: iNeed

Business location: Greater Manchester, UK

Support: info@yesineed.co.uk

VAT status: iNeed is not currently VAT registered and does not currently add VAT to its prices.

2. Using iNeed

iNeed helps people publish service requirements and lets interested individuals or businesses discover enquiries and, where available, purchase access to the contact details and attachments needed to respond. You must provide accurate information, keep your account secure, and use the service lawfully.

We may update features, layout, eligibility rules or prices for future transactions. Any material price applicable to a purchase will be shown before you confirm that purchase.

3. Submitting and managing enquiries

  • You must provide a genuine, reasonably accurate service requirement and contact details you are authorised to use.
  • Both email and UK mobile verification are required before an enquiry is published as active.
  • Attachments must be relevant, lawful, safe to upload and owned by you or used with permission. Do not upload sensitive personal information unless necessary and lawful.
  • Do not submit misleading, unlawful, fraudulent, discriminatory, threatening or abusive content, or content that infringes another person's rights.
  • You may use the available account controls to continue or stop/delete an enquiry. Stopping it removes it from active listings but may not erase transaction, security or legally required records. Details already disclosed to buyers cannot necessarily be recalled.

By submitting an enquiry, you understand that its requirement text and limited listing details may be shown to prospective buyers. If a buyer purchases access, your contact details and any attachment intended for sharing may be provided to that buyer so they can respond to the enquiry. An enquiry may be purchased by up to 10 different buyers, depending on availability and limits.

Only include contact information you agree to share for this purpose. If you do not want your phone number, email address or attachment shared with buyers after purchase, do not submit that information with the enquiry.

4. Browsing and buying enquiries

Public listings show the requirement and selected limited details. Actual contact values and attachments are restricted until the relevant purchase has completed and been recorded. Do not attempt to bypass these controls.

Each enquiry can be purchased by up to 10 different buyers, subject to its configured limit and availability. A buyer cannot purchase the same enquiry twice through the same iNeed account and cannot purchase their own enquiry. Listings may close, expire, be stopped, or sell out before checkout completes.

After purchase, you may use the released contact details only to respond to the specific enquiry and only through a contact method the person has chosen or permitted. Do not resell, transfer, publish, scrape, bulk-export or use the information for unrelated marketing, profiling or unsolicited outreach. You are responsible for complying with applicable data protection, privacy and direct-marketing laws when you contact a customer.

Purchase of an enquiry does not guarantee that the customer will respond, buy from you, or be available. Email and phone verification establishes control of those contact channels; it is not a guarantee of a person's identity, intentions, solvency or the accuracy of every statement in the enquiry.

5. Prices and payments

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP). An enquiry may be free or have a price set by iNeed. At the time of purchase, the price shown in the purchase process is the price that applies to that transaction. We may change prices for future purchases, and may introduce different prices for different types or categories of enquiry. A price change does not retrospectively change a completed purchase.

Where the displayed price is £0.00, no payment is charged for that purchase, but you must still sign in and comply with purchase limits and availability checks.

Paid purchases are processed through Stripe Checkout. You must provide any information required to complete payment. A paid purchase is completed only after the payment provider confirms successful payment and iNeed records the purchase. If checkout is cancelled or payment fails, access to the purchased contact details is not granted through that incomplete transaction. Do not submit another payment if you are unsure whether a previous attempt succeeded; check your account or contact support.

iNeed is not currently VAT registered and does not currently add VAT to its prices. If this changes, iNeed will update the relevant information and show applicable pricing before future purchases.

6. Cancellations and refunds

If a payment is taken incorrectly, a purchase is not recorded, purchased details remain unavailable due to a technical fault, or you believe you are otherwise entitled to a refund, contact info@yesineed.co.uk with the account email, enquiry reference and transaction details. Do not send full card details by email.

We will review the circumstances, including whether the purchase was completed and whether access was supplied, and communicate the outcome. Where a refund is due, we will arrange it through the payment method or provider as appropriate.

If you are a consumer rather than acting for a business, statutory cancellation or refund rights may apply depending on the service supplied and the circumstances. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where the law requires express consent or an acknowledgement before digital access is supplied during a cancellation period, that requirement must be handled in the purchase process; these terms alone do not waive statutory rights.

7. Email alerts

Email alerts are optional. You must actively choose to set up an alert and provide any separate consent required. You can unsubscribe using the link in an alert email or manage alerts from your account. Unsubscribing from marketing alerts does not stop essential account, security, verification or transaction messages needed to provide the service.

Buying an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. We may send future relevant enquiry emails only where the necessary consent or another lawful permission exists.

8. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use iNeed for fraud, unlawful discrimination, harassment, spam, or any illegal purpose;
  • contact a customer in a manner inconsistent with their stated preference or consent;
  • resell, share, scrape or harvest customer details for unrelated purposes;
  • attempt to access another account, bypass authentication, reveal private data or interfere with website security;
  • upload malware, unlawful content, or material that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • misrepresent your business, services, prices or qualifications.

We may investigate suspected misuse, restrict access, stop listings or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary to protect users, the marketplace or comply with law. We may preserve relevant evidence where lawful.

9. Availability and liability

We aim to keep iNeed available and secure but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free search results, or that every enquiry is suitable for every buyer. We may maintain, change or temporarily suspend parts of the website for updates, security, legal reasons or events outside our reasonable control.

iNeed provides a platform for publishing and discovering enquiries. Except where the law requires otherwise, iNeed does not guarantee that a buyer will win work, that an enquirer will buy a service, or that communications between users will result in an agreement.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. If you use iNeed as a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected. Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for indirect losses that could not reasonably have been foreseen when the service was used.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Notice explains what personal information iNeed uses, why it is used, when it is shared with buyers and the rights available to individuals. You must respect other users' privacy and use contact details only for the enquiry purpose for which they were supplied.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using iNeed and may use the available account controls to stop an enquiry or manage email alerts. We may restrict or end access where these terms are breached, where we reasonably suspect abuse or fraud, or where required for security or legal reasons. Ending access does not automatically delete transaction, security or legally required records, nor does it reverse information already disclosed to a buyer.

12. Complaints and contact

For account, enquiry, purchase, refund, privacy or complaints enquiries, email info@yesineed.co.uk. Please include enough information for us to identify the relevant enquiry or purchase, but do not send passwords, verification codes or full payment-card details.

13. Governing law

These terms and disputes arising from use of iNeed are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply to you. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear a dispute.

We may update these terms as the service develops. The date at the top identifies the latest update. Changes will not retrospectively rewrite the price or terms of a purchase already completed, except where required by law or expressly agreed.
